LAMP Fellowship

LAMP Fellowship 2023-24: LAMP fellowship, which is an abbreviation for Legislative Assistants to Members of Parliament (LAMP) fellowship, is a program that provides students an opportunity to learn about law-making and public policy. The LAMP fellows are directly mentored by an MP (Member of Parliament).

Selected candidates will work full time with the MPs, assisting them with research support, drafting materials for zero hour debates, framing parliamentary questions, and raising matters of public importance. The tenure of the fellowship usually begins from the Monsoon season until the end of the Budget session.

The following are the minimum criteria required to be deemed eligible under this scholarship.

  • Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in any academic discipline
