Certification CFP Certification holds tow modes of exams for contaminates- the Regular Pathway and the Challenge Status Pathway.
Regular Pathway
Candidates need to qualify the five CFP examinations consisting of 6 modules to acquire the CFP Certification. The Regular Pathway comprises four-part examinations, which the candidate must qualify through training support and self-study from any of FPSB’s approved Educational Institutions.

However, at the time of Certified Financial Planner Certification, candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate in HSC or 12th standard.
Challenge Status Pathway Eligibility
To deem eligible for Challenge Status Pathway, candidates should have completed CA or Intermediate level, CFA, ICWA, CS, CAIIB, LLB, Ph.D., MPhil, PG, Actuary, FFSI and FLMI from LOMA, Associate or Fellowship of Life Insurance, Civil Service Examinations by UPSC.
In this mode of examination, candidates must clear only the Advanced Financial Planning, which is the fifth exam to be qualified and earn the CFP Certification.
