Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) is the Law wing of the O.P. Jindal Global University located at Haryana. The institute offers UG, PG, and Ph.D. programs only in law stream. About Jindal Global Law School
Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) is the Law wing of the O.P. Jindal Global University located in Sonepat, Haryana. Jindal Global Law School is recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and is a member of the International Association of Law Schools (IALS), USA and American Association of Law Libraries (AALL), USA. It also is the only Indian member of the Law Schools Global League (LSGL), Istanbul/ Madrid. It was established in 2009 as a philanthropic initiative of its founding chancellor, Naveen Jindal in memory of his father, O.P. Jindal.
JGLS is committed to providing global legal education to its students. To fulfill this objective, the curriculum and pedagogy are designed to give extensive exposure to students to domestic, international and comparative law courses. The vision of JGU and JGLS is to fulfill this need by equipping their students and faculty with the knowledge, skills, scholarship, and vision to meet these challenges and demands of globalization. BA-LL.B. (Honors)
Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) offers the 5 years integrated Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Laws (BA.LLB (Hons)) Programme since its year of inception in 2009. The Bachelor of Laws is intended to be completed in five years full-time, or on a part-time basis in either case, the degree must normally be completed within ten years from the start of the study (including any periods of leave or suspension). Each year of study is divided into two semesters which have eighteen weeks of study each including revision of syllabus and examinations.
BBA-LL.B. (Honors)
Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) offers the 5 years integrated Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Laws (B.B.A. LL.B (Hons)) Program since 2013. The Program is designed in keeping with the latest Bar Council of India rules and the University Grants Commission prescriptions and aims at fostering a culture of scholarship and academic excellence amongst the students.
