Motherland is a place where we are born, where we took our first breath and learned to speak and walk. We build a personal relationship with that land or we can say that a personal connection is made, which we can never forget, no matter we go to any corner of the world. This is because the most beautiful phase of our life, that is childhood is spent here.

My birthplace is India and I feel proud to call it my motherland. It’s a south Asian country with 3,287,263 square kilometres of area coverage. Approximately 1652 languages are spoken in India including 21 prime languages. It is also known as Hindustan and Bharat. It has 29 states and 8 union territories. There are very beautiful tourist places to visit in India. People from different countries visit these tourist places.

Interestingly, India has more than 1.3 billion of population and is a democratic country with the longest formed constitution. India has the 4th largest Air force. The most interesting fact about India is that many people belonging to different religions and caste live in the same country and call themselves proud Indians.
