RRB JE BooksRRB, a short form of Railway Recruitment Board, conducts an exam called RRB JE, which is for the students who want to do a job in the railway field. RRB comes under the Ministry of Railways management, and because of this, the test they conduct is challenging to crack because of the high competition. This test offers the position of Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, and various departments of the railways. 

RRB JE – Eligibility for Exam

The student must be 18 years old or old and the maximum age to apply for the exam is 33 years for General, 36 years for OBC, and 38 years for SC/ST people. These are the age limits of the people according to the different categories. Also, as per the RRB JE exam, the candidate must be:

  • Citizen of Nepal

Education Qualification

Junior Engineer  The person must have a diploma of 3 years in civil engineering/ mechanical/automobile/ electronics/ computer science/ computer engineering or B.Sc. in Civil from a reputed university or college.
DMS The person must have a diploma of 3 years in engineering from a known and reputed university or college.
CMA The application must have a bachelor’s degree in science with physics and chemistry with a minimum of 55% marks.

RRB JE Entrance Exam – Syllabus

The entrance for railway recruitment has two stages, i.e. CBT 1 and CBT 2. The syllabus for both the CBT are different from one another. After passing in both the tests, the person will be eligible for document verification and physical reporting. The syllabus for the tests are:
