Medical entrance exam is the gateway to several medical and dental colleges in the country. There are several National and State level entrance exams for UG/PG medical programs. There are also college level medical entrance exams conducted by different colleges to fill the seats in their colleges.

List of Medical Entrance Exam

NEET (National Eligibility Entrance Test)
NEET is one of the most important entrance tests conducted by the National Testing Agency in the country. Through this, the students can seek admission to any medical course in India.
NEET PG is conducted for admissions to post-graduate medical courses such as MD, MS, PG Diploma, and other post MBBS courses in India.
NEET MDS is conducted by NBE for admissions to post-graduate dental courses in India.
AIIMS PG
AIIMS PG entrance exam is conducted by AIIMS, Delhi for admissions to its post-graduate courses. The exam is held twice a year in the months of January and July. The candidates aspiring for MD, MS, and MDS courses can get admissions through the AIIMS entrance exam score.
PGIMER
Post Graduate Institute for Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh offers admissions to its post-graduate courses. The exam is conducted twice a year.
FMGE
FMGE or Foreign Medical Graduate Examination is conducted for those who have completed their studies in medical science from abroad but wish to practice medicine in India. This is only a practicing license and will not lead to any admissions.
AIAPGET
All India Ayush Post-graduate Entrance Test is conducted once in a year by the National Testing Agency for admissions to AYUSH post-graduate courses in India. The qualified candidates can get admissions in MD, MS or PG diploma courses in Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, or Homeopathy.
