For Engineering students- COMEDK offers a single paper on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for 60 marks for three hours.
For Medical or Dental courses- COMEDK offers two papers- Paper one on Physics and Chemistry is for 60 marks for two hours. Paper two on Biology and English is for 60 marks and 30 marks, respectively, for one hour and thirty minutes.

Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have completed their second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination from a recognised institution.
Marks for Qualifying Exam: The minimum marks required for Engineering candidates in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics must be 45 percent for the general category and 40 percent for SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State.
