BA Course Eligibility Criteria
For the admission in any college for pursuing the BA Course in any field, the student must have passed 10+2 from a recognized educational board and with an aggregate score of 50%. Apart from the percentage, the colleges will conduct common entrance exams for the students, and the colleges will be given according to their rank. Students with good entrance scores can opt for top colleges in the country. Students who opted for Humanities and Commerce after the 10th standard can opt for this course.
BA Course Admission Process
The admission to Bachelor of Arts is availed by both as merit-based or entrance- based.
- Admission by Merit: The college reveals the cut-off list of the colleges based on the percentage of 10+2 exams and the students who fall into the criteria can apply for that college. For example, colleges like Gargi College, Hansraj College, Hindu College goes up to 95-98% in their cut off list. So the students who score 95-98% in 12th board exams can apply for these colleges.
- Admission by Entrance: The Entrance is conducted by many colleges to test the aptitude level of the students, and in that case, the college is given based on marks you will get in your entrance test. Apart from the Entrance, the student must have 50-60% in board exams. The entrance is conducted for the BA is JUNEE, DUET, and many more.
The admission process of both merit and by the Entrance is the same as uploading documents and fees. The only difference is one needs an admit card and sit for the exam.
