Agriculture is one of the most emerging streams among the students now-a-days. A number of courses are offered in the agricultural field. The agricultural exams are held at state, national and university level for the candidates aspiring to take admissions in agriculture courses. ICAR (Indian Council for Agricultural Research) is one such exam held at the national level. AGRICET, CG PAT, MP PAT, JCECE are conducted by different states.

Eligibility for Agriculture Entrance Exams
To appear for the agriculture entrance test, the candidate should be:
- Bachelor in Science Stream for post-graduation programs
- 10+2 for B.Sc. and other under-graduation programs
National Level Agriculture Entrance Exams
ICAR is organized by National Testing Agency to provide admissions into UG and PG agriculture programs. The exam is held in the month of June and the application forms are available online and offline in the month of May, once in a year.
State Level Agriculture Entrance Exams
Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination is organized by the BCECE board where the students can get admissions in B.Sc Agriculture course offered by various institutions in Bihar. The application forms are available in the month of March.
Jharkhand Combined Competetive Examination is conducted by the JCECE board where the students can get admissions in the degree level professional courses. The application forms are made available in the month of April.
KCET is organized by Karnataka Examination Authority. The application forms are released in the month of February and the exam is held in the month of April.
Other state-level agriculture entrance exams include KEAM, MP PAT, TS EAMCET, AP EAMCET, and OUAT.
University Level Agriculture Entrance Exams
This entrance exam is conducted by Lovely Professional University where students can get admissions in agriculture and engineering courses offered by the university. The application forms are released in the month of September.
This exam is conducted by Bhartiya Vidyapeeth Deemed University for various UG and PG courses.
Other agriculture entrance exams conducted by various universities include SAAT conducted by Shiksha O’ Anusandhan Unversity, AMU conducted by Aligarh Muslim University and UGAT, PGAT conducted by Allahabad Universities.
