Student ambassadors for NEP

Student ambassadors for NEP (National Education Policy) are students who are selected by the University Grants Commission (UGC) to promote and implement the NEP 2020. The student ambassadors are expected to be actively involved in the following activities:

– Creating awareness about the NEP 2020 among students, parents, and the general public.

– Disseminating information about the NEP 2020 through various channels, such as social media, workshops, and seminars.

– Providing feedback to the UGC on the implementation of the NEP 2020.

The student ambassadors are selected based on their academic performance, leadership skills, and communication skills. They are expected to be committed to the NEP 2020 and to be passionate about education.

The UGC has launched a new initiative called NEP SAARTHI to involve students in the implementation of the NEP 2020. As part of this initiative, nearly 300 students at the higher education level will be selected as ambassadors. The UGC is inviting nominations from institutes to recommend three students for the position of NEP SAARTHI.

The eligibility criteria for NEP SAARTHI are as follows: – The student must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate degree program at a recognized university or college.
