KVPY Books: The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is a National-level Program of Fellowship in the field of Basic sciences. KVPY Syllabus for SA Stream

The KVPY paper for SA Stream comprises 80 questions sectioned into two parts- Part-I and Part-II.

Part-I of the SA paper includes 60 questions of one mark each. However, for every incorrect answer, a negative marking of 0.25 marks is applied. Part-II of the SA paper includes 20 questions of two marks each. However, for every incorrect answer, a negative marking of 0.5 marks is applied.

KVPY Syllabus for SB/SX Stream

The KVPY paper for SB Stream comprises topics and concepts from classes X, XI, and XII.  The KVPY SX Stream comprises topics and concepts from the first year of undergraduate along with classes X and XII curriculum.

The KVPY SB?SX Stream comprises 120 questions, out of which 80 questions need to be answered. The overall paper carries a total of 100 marks. For every incorrect answer for questions containing one mark, a negative marking of 0.25 marks is applied and for questions containing two marks, a negative marking of 0.5 marks is applicable.

The eligibility criteria for the KVPY Fellowship exam is that candidates belonging to the General Category should have secured a minimum of 75 percent marks. Candidates belonging to SC or ST or PWD should have secured a minimum of 65 percent marks aggregate in Mathematics and Science in Class X.
