The Fulbright Kalam Climate Fellowship Program can be applied only through the online mode. This fellowship offers Doctoral Research which is designed for Indian scholars. Those who have registered for a Ph.D. for a duration of 6 to 9 months at an Indian Institution. This fellowship also offers Postdoctoral Research designed for the Indian researchers and faculties. Those who are in the early stages of their research career.
Talented faculty and researchers will get an opportunity to strengthen their research capacities under this fellowship. Postdoctoral fellows will get access to some of the finest resources in their areas of interest. They will also help build long-term collaborative relationships with the USA faculties and institutions. The duration of the Postdoctoral Research Fellowship is for 8 to 12 months.
During the grant, the selected applicants will get an affiliation with one host institution in the US. All applicants strongly recommended by the USIEF to identify institutions for affiliation. It also recommends making an in advance communication with the potential host institutions. The applicants who have a letter of invitation from a US institution should include it in their online application. This letter of invitation should contain the duration of the visit and date.
