Delhi University Courses Admission Procedure

DU Courses Eligibility Criteria

There is different eligibility for different courses at DU. The Candidate who wants to join an undergraduate course at Delhi University has to appear for the CUET i.e. Common University Entrance Test. In some courses, the admission is based on the merit basis of your 12th marks. The minimum percentage required for admission to DU is different depending on the course requirement.

  • For B.Sc. Courses: the minimum qualification is 12 th with PCM/B with 60% marks + 50% marks in English in 12 th standard.
  • For B.A. Courses: the minimum percentage is b/w 40- 60 % depending upon the course you choose + min 50% in English. And the Subject Combination required for admission.
  • For B. Com Courses: for B.Com Hons. The minimum eligibility is not less than 50% marks in Mathematics/ Business Mathematics + not less than 60% in Hindi/English in 12th standard.

For PG courses the minimum eligibility for admission to DU is DUET/ CUET entrance exam. After qualifying for the entrance test a merit list is prepared. The final selection is based on merit basis. The candidate must check the subject combination of the course before applying for the course.

Delhi University Admission 2022

The national testing agency has released the application form 2022 of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for the UG course. You can apply for the application from its website: cuet.samarth.ac.in. The application for UD courses starts from 6 April to 6 May 2022.

  • Step 3: Uploading the required document(Class X certificate + XII th marksheet +Candidate Photograph & Signature).
  • Step 4: Submit Application Fee

After filling out the application form you will get a confirmation email at the given email address.

Important Note:

  • The candidate whose 12th result is awaited can fill out the application form DU.
  • The Candidate has the option to choose the medium of their entrance test.
  • The DU will open the correction window of your application form if you have filled in any wrong information by default.
  • There is 5% relaxation for the students of the reserved category.
